The team at Willowbank along with residents, friends and families came together to celebrate Easter weekend in style with an array of fun and tasty activities.  From arts and crafts which included traditional Easter bonnet making, to going on an Easter egg hunt and of course sampling our findings, there really was something for everyone to get involved in.

The arts and crafts in particular were a big hit, with residents and carers working together to create an array of Easter themed items.  Carer Elaine told us “our residents really enjoyed embracing their creative sides and showing off their individual styles and talents.  We all had a great laugh at ourselves trying to get the little fiddly chicks to stick onto the straw hats.”

Willowbank head chef Denise made a lovely selection of Easter cakes and also kindly judges our Easter bonnet competition where our Margaret was the very proud winner.

Residents relished the weekends celebrations, which were made all the better with the warm and sunny weather.
