Lisa Thomson, Home Manager at Balhousie Brookfield, has organised a raffle with a difference.

That’s because instead of sweets and drinks, the winner will have Lisa do two of their shifts for them – all in the name of benefitting the home’s residents.

Open to all staff at the Carnoustie home, the proceeds from the raffle will go to the residents’ comfort fun, going towards equipment and activities.

When the winner is announced, they will get two extra shifts off on full pay while Lisa does their work for them.

She could end up working as a Care Assistant, Domestic Assistant or even a Chef – something Lisa is particularly keen to avoid!

“It’s causing great excitement among the staff,” Lisa said.

“We’ve actually had staff coming in on their days off to buy tickets! It seems they are desperate to see me doing their jobs.

“I just hope the winner isn’t one of the cooks!”

Lisa’s offer has caused great excitement among the staff – and whatever she ends up doing, she’ll be a good sport.

Well done, Lisa!
