Residents at Balhousie St Ronan’s had an Easter Sunday to remember thanks to a generous group of local bikers.

The Black Cherries, a Harley Davidson group based in Dundee, make annual visits to the home to drop off Easter eggs and spend time with the residents.

For the last six years, they have dropped in on the residents to spread some Easter joy, organised by Paula Balfour, the home’s Activities Coordinator and a member of the group.

This year, the bikers delivered dozens of chocolate treats. They spent time at the home, enjoyed a cup of tea and plenty of biscuits, and some of the residents even posed for pictures sitting on the group’s lovely bikes!

Paula said: “All the staff and residents look forward to the Black Cherries’ visits, and it was fantastic to see the joy on the residents’ faces when they arrived.

“Everyone loved spending the afternoon with them – and we enjoyed our Easter eggs too!

“We are so grateful to the Black Cherries for giving up their Easter Sunday to visit St Ronan’s and make it such a special day for the residents and staff.”
