Three local girls, aged 9 years old, took it upon themselves to do a sponsor walk in an attempt to raise funds for Moyness Nursing Home’s comfort fund. By walking across the Tay Road Bridge and back, these inspirational girls raised an amount of £366.00 between them.
Darcy (daughter of Lynne McDowall’s, Well Being Co-ordinator at Moyness Nursing Home) and two of her friends, Isla and Alana, did an inspirational thing by completing this walk. The girls were presented with a certificate of achievement from Elaine, Manager at Moyness Nursing Home and also a certificate from the Head Teacher at Craigowl Primary School where the girls all attend.
From all the residents and staff at the Home, a huge well done girls, lovely to see our younger generation taking pride in helping out the local community!
