Residents across Balhousie Care Group have been getting in the mood for Valentine's Day.

It’s the season of love – and at Balhousie Care Group, residents have been getting in the mood for Valentine’s Day.

Ranging from baking and crafts to card-writing and afternoon tea, activities to mark the special day took place across our 26 facilities.

Katie Hopewell, Activities Coordinator at Balhousie Huntly, went above and beyond to make it a day to remember for the home’s residents, in particular the couples living at the Aberdeenshire facility and those with partners living outwith the site.

With the help of some of the occupants, she created a delicious afternoon tea – complete with decorations and home baking.

At Clement Park, residents enjoyed a Valentine’s Day party with singing and dancing, while they also had the chance to create their own hand-made cards.

Also getting creative were the occupants of Balhousie Monkbarns, who coloured in some beautiful roses.

Meanwhile, at Brookfield, residents were given “love coupons” allowing them to claim a treat – such as a spa day or fish and chips – at a later date.

We hope everyone had an amazing day!
