Q: What do Prue Leith, Paul Hollywood and the staff and residents of Balhousie Luncarty have in common?
A: They all made appearances (of sorts) in the Luncarty Scarecrow Festival, organised by Luncarty Primary to raise funds for the school.
This fun event on the local community calendar was a chance for Team Luncarty to get creative.
Both staff and residents had great fun making Carer and Resident scarecrows, which were then put outside the home for the community as part of the Festival’s scarecrow map trail.
Resident Faye Rennie also enjoyed a wee wander around Luncarty village looking at the other entries (for which read: checking out the competition!)
Balhousie Luncarty didn’t win any prizes, but suffice to say the whole experience was just the thing to get everyone in the mood for Autumn.
