At Balhousie North Inch, a Tuesday morning has become a very popular time of the week for our residents. This is because they have some very special little visitors from the local nursery.
A group of pre-school children from nearby Apple Tree Nursery in Perth have been walking along to the care home every week to spend some time with the residents and have been participating in all sorts of activities, from making paper Christmas decorations to singing Christmas carols.
And, to say the residents love it would be a huge understatement. What’s even more lovely is to see how much the kids enjoy their time with the residents too, building lovely intergenerational friendships with each other.
