Choosing the care that’s right for you.
We understand that considering leaving somewhere that has been your home for many years can be one of the biggest decisions you will make in your lifetime. Once a care requirement is evident, there are lots of aspects to consider when choosing a care home such as types of care available, facilities, location, atmosphere and environment.
Adults with disabilities
Some of our homes provide specialist nursing care and support to adults with learning disabilities, associated challenging behaviours and mental health needs. We also provide care and support at some of our homes to individuals with Autism.
Alzheimers & Dementia
Every person living with Dementia will be affected differently, requiring an in-depth understanding of each individual in order to provide the right level of support. Balhousie Care support a growing number of residents affected by or living with this condition and our staff members are trained to support people with various types of Dementia.
Residential care offers elderly and frail people the flexibility they have had previously in their own homes, whilst providing on-going and consistent support with their everyday living needs. Here at Balhousie Care, we provide our residents with a comfortable, caring and safe environment, coupled with the highest levels of accommodation and facilities.
At Balhousie Care, we understand that caring for a loved one, although rewarding, can be challenging and tiring. Everybody needs some time-off to recharge and we appreciate you will only be able to relax when you know your loved one is happy, safe and cared-for. Many of our homes offer this form of care and our highly trained and experienced staff offer both planned and emergency respite care.
