For World Alzheimer’s Day today, residents at Balhousie Pitlochry watched a VE Day anniversary concert from online performers, Songbook Melodies. Music is a powerful way to stir memories for people living with dementia and the residents just love music. This particular virtual concert was very nostalgic for the residents as the music was from the war era, bringing back lots of memories of a different time.
