Celebrating Burns at Pitlochry.

As we mark the birth of Robert Burns, the staff and residents at Balhousie Pitlochry have been fully embracing the traditions that come with celebrating Burns Night.

There’s been poetry recitals from residents, singing Scottish folk songs, toasting the haggis and whisky tasting!

Pitlochry resident Jane ‘Jean’ Malcolm, recited A Red, Red, Rose before sampling a dram which was kindly donated for Robertsons Of Pitlochry for the home’s whisky tasting.

Also, Maintenance Operative, Stevie Russell, brilliantly did the Address to the Haggis and the Selkirk Grace – something he’d never done before!

What a braw day celebrating our National Bard!
