At Balhousie Willowbank, the residents have been thoroughly spoiled since their brand-new Beauty Room opened its doors.
When looking for a space to introduce some pampering, Activities Coordinator, Mandy Grant, decided the home’s hair salon offered the perfect spot. With the hairdresser only visiting once a week on a Friday, this meant the space could be utilised on the other days.
Now, it’s all about pampering the residents in the Beauty Room. There’s two foot spas, foot masks, face masks, hand massages and the residents can get their nails painted any colour they wish.
“The ladies are in their element,” says Mandy. “Who doesn’t love a pampering and be made to feel special.”
