Alice Cooper, 84, gets into the party spirit

“You all deserve to be congratulated, especially in these times.”

The words of Sandra McLaughlin, daughter of one of our residents at Balhousie Clement Park, brought a smile to staff’s faces this week.

Sandra took the time to call our HQ to tell us what a beautiful birthday party staff at the Dundee home had put on for her mother, Alice Cooper, on her 84 birthday.

The party included drinks, music, novelty specs and ‘VIP’ guests in the form of Clement Park residents from some other units in the home.

Said Sandra: “My mum was treated like a queen and she was so happy. Carer Taiigen Low even sent me a video. They’re just amazing. It was so wonderful.”

Alice has been at Clement Park for a number of years now. A former cleaner at the Timex factory in Dundee, she is the proud mother of four, grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of 10.
