s dressed as witches for halloween

So many fabulously horrible halloween parties across Balhousie Care yesterday – we just had to share some of the spookily superduper photos!

Balhousie Lisden in Kirriemuir had games galore – Pass the Pumpkin, Doughnuts on a String, Lucky Dip and Halloween Punch with chocolate marshmallows, music and dancing, all devised and organised by brilliant Activities Coordinator, Brenda Coutts.

Balhousie Willowbank in Carnoustie had a dreaded claw you had to dare to dip your hand! Residents shared their memories of guising and even Max their Therapet had his Halloween outfit on visiting today.

At Balhousie Antiquary, Arbroath they had a spooktacular day singing, dancing and cocktails, dunkin’ donuts, and apple bobbing, as well as a visit from wonderful wee Evie in her tiny cat outfit.

Halloween is a busy time at Balhousie Clement Park, Dundee, indulging in chocolate apples, a scavenger hunt, trick or treating, vHalloween nails, cake decorating and then felt pumpkin making!

At Balhousie Huntly in Aberdeenshire, their version of trick or treat, was actually all treat! Activities Coordinator Liz the witch handing out cakes…

Halloween hijinks at Wheatlands, Bonnybridge saw the staff and residents working hard to turn their home into the spookiest of places for a horrible halloween party to remember. And at Balhousie Monkbarns, Arbroath, as well as ducking for apples, doughnut bobbing, dancing and party food, they had a fun-filled mummy-wrapping competition!

At Balhousie Brookfield they invited in ghouls and ghosts from all across the community. Home Manager Lisa Thomson, said: “Wow what a Halloween we had. It was amazing! I think the whole Carnoustie community of all ages, came to trick or treat the residents and everyone absolutely loved it. So many kids dressed up, and came in singing and telling jokes to the delight of our residents. Parents were commenting on how fabulous it was and what a brilliant thing to do – full of fun and community spirit.”

Well, if there were any evil spirits around on All Souls – our Balhousie bunch were having too much fun to notice!
