There was a fabulous floral scent in the air at Balhousie Clement Park yesterday. It seemed the flower fairies had arrived!
Actually – it was a lady from the local Tesco!
Store Manager, Sharon from the South Road store in Dundee, arrived laden with armfuls of flowers for the residents. The donation came following the passage of the Queen’s cortege through the city from Balmoral. The Manager had the wonderful consideration to bring the remaining stocks of flowers to her local Care Home.
Hairdresser Linda and Head Housekeeper Colleen immediately set to, distributing the blooming joy, filling vases across the home and in residents’ rooms.
