Two fire bridge officers with Christmas gifts

You can forget the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and of those yet to come, it’s Community generosity that conjures up the true Spirit of Christmas!

And it’s been out in full force across Balhousie care homes this festive period, with special gifts and messages flooding into our residents.

After serenading Balhousie North Inch with carols last week, Balhousie Primary visited to bring their handmade cards with personal messages, along with homemade shortbread, to warm our residents’ hearts. And Edzell Primary brought Joy to The Glens with their carol singing and wonderful Christmas messages too.

At Balhousie Alastrean near Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, children from Tarland Primary School very kindly put together a hamper, while Balhousie Willowbank in Carnoustie welcomed Jim and Adele from their local fire brigade bringing their Santa sack of gifts too!

Also in Carnoustie, Balhousie Brookfield received a huge hamper of goodies – Body shop gifts, chocolates and boxes of biscuits – which the staff have turned into a fun-packed afternoon of Prize Bingo.

Being part of our local communities makes this festive period truly special. Huge thanks from us all!
