During August, ASC Support Worker, Laura McKechnie, will be running a fundraising campaign in aid of Breast Cancer Now.

August is the charity’s awareness month, and this year, it has an afternoon tea theme. Laura is inviting as many residents, families and staff as possible to get involved and help support a great cause.

We’ll have donation boxes, and there will be a raffle with the draw taking place at ASC’s music festival on August 17.

We’re also encouraging everyone to join in with the charity’s Wear Pink Day – and we’re invited to an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party on August 31!

Laura said: “Breast cancer affects lots of people, including many of our staff and residents, so it’s really important to support this fantastic cause.

“We’ve got some brilliant events planned, and it would be amazing to see as many people as possible get involved.”
