CArer with blow up guitar and resident with Heart hat

Love was well and truly in the air across Balhousie Care homes on Valentine’s Day for our residents and our teams too.

With superb decorations, all sorts of wee gifts, dinners and dancing, and even Mr & Mrs style quizzes – and a few funny Valentine’s too – February 14 made lots of memories this year.

Clement Park in Dundee and North Inch in Perth had a fun-packed party with lots of singing and dancing, while Dalngalar in Crieff had a fantastic ‘Let’s get moving’ valentine special with Ally Bongo. All Dalnaglar visitors received a single red rose with love from everyone at the Perthshire care home, and everyone at Luncarty received their own card and some yummy cake.

Coupar Angus set up teas for two and Forth View in Methil, and St Ronan’s, also in Dundee, arranged special Valentine’s Day lunches surrounded by heart and flowers, along with special couples’ reminiscence activities.

We always take the opportunity to spread the love at Balhousie!
